This soft, handle-less cup with an uber drippy top over a groggy textured base brings to mind summer and the hook of a great pop song. Best for clutching a cup of tea but could be a coffee drinker too. This piece is hand-thrown on the wheel with multiple layers of glaze that melt together and reveal stripes of salmon, ochre, and hot pink. The cup is made from dragonfruit clay, which has a highly dotted peppered texture. You can feel it on the pinkie in contrast with the gloopy drips up top, giving the whole piece a playful tactile character.
